DCN Radiology is active across a number of national and international associations and societies.

All our staff are either direct or honorary employees of NHS Lothian, providing health care to the population of Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Some of our staff also work in other local health boards, or provide NHS reporting through regional / national insource reporting.
The BSNR is a professional group for the standards, education and research in neuroradiology.
There is an annual scientific meeting, with a number of update sessions across the country.
Edinburgh will be the host of the 2023 Autumn meeting.
A number of our staff are directly employed by the University of Edinburgh, including roles with the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, Edinburgh Imaging and the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences. Our staff are also involved in the training and development of new doctors with the Edinburgh Medical School.
UKNG is a group for interventional neuroradiologists, with biannual meetings.
Edinburgh hosted the 2018 autumn conference.
BSHNI is a professional group for neck radiologists, with regular update meetings and an annual summer conference. Dr David Summers is the current BSHNI President.
The RCR leads, educates and supports doctors who are training and working in the specialties of clinical oncology and clinical radiology
